Mack Pexton, Technology Officer & Founder

Mack has been writing software for over 25 years. He graduated with a degree in Computer Sciences from Montana State University in '78 and has spent his career promoting the UNIX/Linux environment first encountered there. He is an advocate of open-source software and promotes economic and secure computing solutions in a license-free environment.

His work transgresses several industries. He has supported scientific research including logging simulation, fish population estimator, GIS spatial analysis, and data visualization. He has designed retail store databases, sales lead tracking software, marketing list management software, and factory information systems.

Mack also designed and implemented a "total enterprise system" for a custom travel company that is based on a centralized database accessed through the web. It tracks sales, analyzes marketing campaigns, logs interactions with clients, inventories providers, lists reservations, and generates billings. It also produces comprehensive "print on demand" travel books, itinerary documents, and follow-up evaluations that can be emailed and automatically posted to the database. This work was the pre-cursor, the prototype, for the AcmeBase CRM.

Bobby Bear, Executive Officer & Founder

Bobby brings an extensive financial and data digging background to the company. She has a degree in Economics and has extensive commercial lending experience ranging from a large Philadelphia bank to regional Montana banks. She also has been a controller, financial manager and a director of information systems.

She has first hand knowledge of relational database systems and designs reports and information forms for them. She thrives on drilling down to the essence of a problem and likes solutions that are simple and sweet — easy to understand and easy to use.
